Whether you’re keen to get hands-on and make something special, explore ethical markets, or lend a helping hand, this month has plenty to offer!
Christmas market with a twist from Sustainably Influenced
📅 When: Saturday 23rd November

The first ever Sustainably Influenced Christmas Market is not to be missed! Come shop from a curated selection of small, ethical, and sustainable businesses—perfect for getting ahead on your holiday shopping with purpose!
You’ll find unique products from ethical and independent brands such as The Glowcery, Saywood Studio, Revere The Residence, Sharlala Jewellery, Lavey London and In Good Company, who’ll be showcasing a curated selection of ethical and sustainable gift items from good companies. Plus there’ll be coffee to fuel you from B-Corp certified Caravan Coffee.
And it’s not just for buying – bring along good-quality, preloved clothing to donate via Give Your Best, a non-profit supporting displaced women and children through clothing donations.
It’s the perfect opportunity to kick off the holiday season in a thoughtful, eco-conscious and meaningful way
Christmas Crafting: Sew your own Christmas cards
Get into the festive spirit and add a personal touch to your holiday decor with these creative crafting events!
On the 14th November, you can learn to sew your own Christmas cards o aboard good company Barge East in Hackney Wick. The founder of She Makes Things, Katy Homes, will guide you through the art of hand-sewing festive designs onto Christmas cards. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to add a sustainable, homemade flair to their holiday greetings.

And then on 16th November, join the Dottie Cloud x Pavement Christmas Bauble Painting Workshop in London. Here, you can unleash your creativity to design unique, hand-painted salvaged baubles with Dottie & Cloud’s signature bold colour palette. With all materials provided, this relaxed, festive session is ideal for both beginners and seasoned crafters alike and you’ll come away with a one-of-a-kind that will stand out on any tree.

Volunteer or donate at the Tree of Kindness

📍 Where: London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee

This Christmas, make a difference by volunteering at the Tree of Kindness, an initiative by Social Bite to ensure everyone feels the warmth of the holiday season. From 15 November to 22 December, anyone can stop by to donate gifts and essential items for people and families experiencing homelessness.
Volunteers help by welcoming visitors and collecting gifts and donations. It’s a truly rewarding way to spread kindness, connect with the community, and support individuals in need during what can be a difficult time of year.
If you’re looking to make a positive impact this Christmas, volunteering at the Tree of Kindness offers a meaningful way to share the holiday spirit in a way that’s full of heart and hope. And if you can’t commit for a shift, then you can drop off a gift instead.
Ever After Garden at Grosvenor Square

Swap & sparkle: Refresh your festive wardrobe with LOANHOOD
