Our Editor Tried On The New Nobody's Child Bridal Collection And These are Her First Impressions

Bianca Foley

Weddings are evolving, and so are bridal wardrobes. More and more, modern brides are seeking chic, budget-friendly, and consciously crafted gowns that don’t just serve for one day but can be re-worn or repurposed. Enter Nobody’s Child, the conscious fashion brand already loved for its feminine silhouettes and responsible production methods. They recently launched  their first bridal collection and it is all about elegant yet affordable pieces that suit everything from a registry office ceremony to a garden party reception.

To see if these dresses live up to the hype, I tried on three of the key styles from the collection; The Lena, The Atalana, and The Bodry. Here are my thoughts about each one.

The Lena

If you’re after something effortlessly classic, The Lena is your girl. A simple bandeau dress that oozes elegance, this is the kind of gown that makes a statement with its minimalism. Retailing at £200, it’s a steal for budget-conscious brides who want a traditional yet modern look. The structured fabric means it hugs in all the right places without feeling too restrictive.

I could see this working beautifully for a classic white wedding or even a more intimate ceremony. It’s also the perfect blank canvas for accessories – imagine it with pearl drop earrings, a sleek chignon, and a cathedral-length veil. The Lena is proof that you don’t need a big budget to have a luxury look.

The Atalana

I have to admit, The Atalana stole my heart! Priced at £180, this dress is a fun, flirty alternative to the traditional bridal gown. The bow detail adds a touch of romance, and the double-lined fabric gives it a structured, high-end feel.

For brides who aren’t necessarily after a long gown, or those looking for a registry office or second-look dress, this is the one IMO. It’s the perfect balance between elegance and playfulness. I’d style this with strappy heels, a bold red lip, and sleek ponytail for a modern city bride vibe.

The Bodry

Last but definitely not least, The Bodry is the most wearable of the three. It’s got plenty of movement, making it practical and comfortable—two things you don’t always get with bridalwear! What I love most about this one is its versatility. It could work beautifully for a maternity bridal look, and it’s a dress you could absolutely wear again for summer events.

I predict we’ll be seeing a lot of this at registry weddings this year. Paired with delicate gold jewelry and a tousled updo, it gives off effortless, cool-girl energy.

In my opinion, Nobody’s Child has absolutely nailed the modern, conscious bridal aesthetic. The collection is perfect for brides looking to balance style, ethical production and affordability. Whether you’re going for timeless elegance, something playful, or a dress you can rewear long after the wedding, there’s an option for you.
