The Conscious Sale Items I Am Adding To My Wishlist
Bianca Foley
Now I know, it may sound like a bit of a contradiction to be telling you about the sale pieces I am adding to my wishlist, but I will always say that I am a reformed shopaholic; meaning I still look but I don’t often buy, in fact this year I haven’t bought anything new! I have always been a big lover of clothes and back in the day I did love a trip to the likes of COS on my lunch break. Nowadays I shop more mindfully and even prefer renting the perfect outfit over buying new, but I will ALWAYS love to keep an eye on the latest trends and recreate some of the latest styles from my old high-street faves using more conscious and responsible brands.
Summer has started later than any of us anticipated this year but it has meant that you can get your hands on some of the best that the sustainable fashion world has to offer at a fraction of a cost. When it comes to shopping sale items, my top tips are to only buy what you need! Don’t buy things for the sake of it. If you have had your eye on something for a while and know that it will fit in with your style, wardrobe and values, then get it! I also search for my favourite sale pieces on second hand retailers to make sure I keep things as susty as possible!
For those of you looking for a few new pieces in your lives, here are some of the best pieces I’ve seen from a selection of responsible, conscious and independent brands…
